CRUX Christmas Baskets
Every Christmas, Harvest Christian Fellowship provides Christmas baskets for the less fortunate in our community and in our church. These baskets don’t only include food items, but also with toys that many kids can enjoy during this Christmas season. James 1:27 says, “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”
Not only do we get to bless people with gifts of food & toys this Christmas season, but more importantly we get to present the greatest gift ever, the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ. As the church collects each basket to give away, we also include the gospel message as a way to show them that although the baskets are a great gift to receive, Jesus is an even greater gift to receive! There is hope in Jesus Christ alone, and that’s the message that is conveyed through the giving of Christmas Baskets.
CRUX Jr. High is rallying to collect donated items to be added to the Christmas baskets. If you would like to contribute to blessing people this Christmas season, and more importantly, revealing the joy of Christ to them, simply donate any of the mentioned items to the CRUX Jr. High at any of our weekly services or satellite campuses.
